GENERAL DESCRIPTION

ANJEKA-6200C is a 100% active polymer dispersant used to improve the dispersion and stability of pigments in dispersed systems, especially suitable for stabilizing highly pigmented carbon blacks and organic pigments. It helps to improve pigment color spreading, improves pigment wetting ability of the dispersing system, significantly reduces the viscosity of the abrasive, and increases the pigment content of the color paste.

STORAGE and TRANSPORT

Layering or turbidity may occur at temperatures below 0°C. Heat to 20°C and mix thoroughly.

Storage time is not recommended to exceed 12 months.

SPECIAL NOTES

The surface treatment of some organic pigments may adversely affect the effectiveness of this wetting and dispersing additive. In such cases, untreated pigments of the same type may be used. When used in coil coatings, the interaction between the cationic additive and the acid catalyst must be considered. Free or epoxy-encapsulated acids are preferable to amine-encapsulated acids.

The additive unflocates and stabilizes the pigment by spatial site resistance.Anjeka-6200C provides the same charge to the pigment particles. The resulting repulsive and spatial stabilization prevents possible co-flocculation and prevents color float and bloom in multi-color systems. The result is an increase in gloss, color strength, transparency and hiding power, as well as a reduction in milling viscosity.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

The amount of additives (in purchased form) is based on the pigment:

Titanium dioxide: 5%-6%

Inorganic pigments: 10%-15

Organic pigments: 30%-80

Carbon black: 70%-140

*The above data are empirical and the optimum dosage should be determined through a series of tests.

INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS

In order to get the best performance, the additives should be added into the grinding resin and solvent first, and then add the pigment after mixing well.
