STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

Please stir well before use, delamination or muddy oil may occur when the temperature is lower than 0℃, heat to 30℃-40℃ and stir well.

Storage time is not recommended to exceed 12 months.

Characteristics and advantages

Helps to improve the gloss, vivid color, anti-flocculation and reduce haze caused by uneven dispersion of organic pigments. Particularly useful in the dispersion of high surface carbon blacks to improve the blackness of coatings. It also helps to shorten the grinding time, improve the production efficiency and increase the storage stability of coatings.

APPLICATION SECTORS

This additive is recommended for the dispersion of pigments in solvent-borne solvent coatings and for the stabilization of organic pigments, especially carbon blacks, in printing inks. It is compatible with many resins used in coatings, such as polyester, polyurethane and acrylic systems.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

The amount of additives (in purchased form) is based on the pigment:

Organic pigments: 10%-50

Titanium dioxide or inorganic fillers: 0.5%-2%

Inorganic pigments: 4%-8

Carbon black: 10%-30%

High-surface carbon black: 40%-80

The above data are empirical, the optimal amount should be determined through a series of tests.

In order to obtain the best performance, the additives should be added to the abrasive before the pigments are added.
